Quirine van Voorst has been named Chief Operating Officer of Quantib effective September 1, 2021. Rudolf Scholte, founder and former COO of Quantib, will remain on Quantib to facilitate the new role handover and support the management team through the change.
"I’m very excited to join Quantib” Quirine said. “With its strong team and products with FDA clearance and CE marks, Quantib is very well positioned to grow and have a real impact for millions of patients. I’m looking forward to helping realize this enormous opportunity."
With a Masters in Science and Innovation Management and an MBA from INSEAD, Quirine began her career as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group. Since then she has spent most of her career in healthcare, working across continents and healthcare settings. As a director at Philips she developed growth strategies for health businesses and helped define operating models for the company. This wide experience makes her the perfect candidate to overview Quantib’s operations and growth.
Quantib is an artificial intelligence company active in the field of medical imaging. The growing team of more than 30 employees is constantly improving and developing new features for Quantib’s several machine learning products with FDA and CE approval on the market.
“I am very pleased to welcome Quirine as our new Chief Operating Officer,” said Arthur Post Uiterweer. “Quirine brings deep healthcare operations and strategy expertise to Quantib, which will be highly relevant as our commercial operations are rapidly scaling up following strong demand growth for our prostate and neuro AI solutions. Quirine is succeeding Rudolf Scholte, who founded Quantib around 9 years ago, as he will be retiring from the company in 2022”.
